While the AC2 was supposed to be for more dangerous creatures overall, it also was meant to house creatures that are found in environments heroes rarely venture into before 10th level, such as under the sea. So the Devilfish, chaotic sentient aquatic life with supernatural abilities and the likelihood of advancing to a more dangerous spell slinging stage is presented below.

Devilfish are aquatic, supernatural beings, that begin life as large manta ray like creatures with barbed tails. As they gain experience they come into their full supernatural nature, along with the abilities of a shadow cleric devoted to dark immortals. As a race they are jingoistic, and cruel, seeking dominance over all other forms of sea life, and treating those slaves they capture poorly. Devilfish speak their own language, but can understand and speak other undersea tongues.

Gaze Attack [Charm]: As Charm Being spell [Willpower (Self-Discipline) test: TN 13].
Spells (4): Divine (Shadow), Spellpower 14, 4 spells

Greater Devilfish, are the high priests of the culture and every devilfish strives to become more perfect in the eyes of their immortals and to gain greater power in their religion. As mastery of spell casting provides them with great protection from normal weapons, and vampiric abilities, it is a sought after trait. The highest leaders will have even more Health, Mana, and a higher spell casting level. To become a patriarch or matriarch, the highest state of devilfish society, the supplicant goes on a lone vision quest. Those who fail end up as zombie devilfish. Because females gain more power from this quest, each community of devilfish is lead by a Matriarch, a being of extremely high spell casting ability (10+) and experience. Magical devilfish can be Rebuked, as supernatural beings, and may not learn rebuke spells.
